Invisible shackles that keep me there,

holding me against my will and keep me scared.

Day to night, night to day this is my life abused in everyway.

Many different masks to show what they want me to do,

but screaming inside please I don’t want to.

I wandered along a path of promises of milk and honey,

pushed into darkness I called for my mommy.

There’s no light at the end of my tunnel,

only darkness where light never funnels.

Are we really living in modern times,

that something so awful is still plotting crimes.

Open your eyes and see I need you, please help me ….
