Self-Harm in Pakistani Women

RES is supporting Margaret Haridman, from the University of Birmingham, and who is conducting a PhD Research Study in Self-Harm in Pakistani Women.

The aim of this research is to explore understandings and experiences of self-harm in Pakistan, and in the UK in women of Pakistani heritage.  Furthermore, The purpose of this research hopes to provide an evidence base for effective prevention and treatment strategies in the future.
