IMPORTANT STATEMENT

These are extraordinary and challenging times as a second lockdown reminds us.

Rights and Equality Sandwell can confirm that 2 of our employees have tested positive for Coronavirus (Covid-19) in the last few days.

Our immediate concerns are for our colleagues and their families and wish them a swift recovery. The health and wellbeing of our staff and beneficiaries is paramount to us and our employees are being offered all necessary support at this challenging time.

We are assured the team members who have tested positive have not attended any places other than this office (without any external contact); a recognised Covid test centre outside their home, after they felt ill and they subsequently self-isolated.

RES is a small team, in accordance with Government guidelines, as precaution all staff are isolating and working from home from 4th November 2020. We are undertaking a deep clean and disinfection on Wednesday 4th November 2020. Physical access to the office is closed for the next two weeks.

We do however want to reinforce that we have robust Corvid-secure processes in place. Indeed, through our Shield project we will continue to reach out to our communities to remain alert to the virus and through our work convey public health guidelines and precautions.
